TT: Who and what is the milk? 

 The Milk is an angry triangular boot lift dark comedy flail into my bullshit I guess. Its like being punched in the face by a gummy whispering gimp pulling a trailer full of buffet food,yeah it takes you by surprise but you know it aint gonna bite hard & its full of hot fresh pastry meat parcels.
The Milk Started with just myself but has now grown into a team of 5 people and counting within a production company we started up called LIKE AN EGG PRODUCTIONS.
They’re all rad and just as messed up.
 

TT: Who or what inspires you?  

 A hell of a lot of stuff. Since I was like 3 years old iv’e watched horror movies & what is kinda seen now as “cult” movies. I used to watch stuff like ghostbusters, labyrinth, dark crystal, evil dead, mad max, alien, gremlins, star wars you know all the standards but id line a couple of bags of crisps up and just pick one that day randomly and watch it on loop from the time i opened my eyes until they burned and shut at night.
my mother obviously disapproved then eventually thought there was something wrong with me for watching so much and listening to music so much, like that was it thats all i did as a super young child. i was in that world. Eventually I was taken to the Dr.’s and they said “he’s perfectly fine but he has ADHD” which at the time I guess was a lot less known or even mattered then I’m saying that like it matters now ha ha ha . I used to feel it coming on strong from the age of like 6 or 7 and just wanna burn energy for like 2 hours flat out. I used to run around my living room just top speed around the edge of the entire room leaping and bounding over furniture as hard as I could until I wore myself out to the point of passing out. It literally got to a stage where I could feel it come over me and ask my mother for “nice medicine” which is what the DR prescribed to calm me down/knock me out. It worked.I learned to control it as I grew up which is where the energy comes from I guess.  Anyway like I was saying before I trailed. At about 6 years old i was watching anything i could get my hands on. id learnt all the classics listed above word for word so while my mother disapproved my taste in films i was watching darker stuff along with everything and anything. i remember seeing Killer Clowns From Outer Space and it just blew my mind how something could be rad at the same time as it being shit scarily realistic. those clowns are dark man. I remember everyone freaking out about Stephen Kings IT even though it was a better film storyline wise etc it was nothing for me when i was young. i don’t mean that like “check out the balls on me” but it was to easy on the eye i wanted to see shit that would make me not wanna blink for an hour and make me think things that i didn’t understand. Thats what all the warped movies do. Heres a soft example nothing dark or warped just an earliest movie memory i can think of. I remember watching Star Wars and id be sat there thinking “why hasn’t anyone gone for a piss or a ham sandwich? Maybe they’ve never heard of Rolo’s they need to know about this stuff its excellent”. But thats the kinda shit you would think when you’re that age and you know nothing of what go’s into movies being made.
So long way around the question I guess a lot of movies and a hell of a lot music got to my soul and dragged it to hell before I knew what was even going on in the world. Doomed from the green light ha ha ha. Comedy wise again I’m in love with the people you can never replicate in any way like John Candy, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Gene Wilder & Richard Prior there’s way to many to list so thats some of the classics.More Modern UK comedy i guess I’d say Reeves & Mortimer, Chris Morris i dunno another whole cake mix of shit that i can bore you with. ill give anyone who reads this far into the interview PROPS for giving a shit.
 

TT:What sets you apart from the rest?

i don’t know about being set apart from the rest but i love what i do and the fact that there are twisted enough people out there that dig it the way i do. It just blows me away. It gives me an awesome drive and a lot of hope that their are other people like me doing this on their own just for the buzz. People who are doing anything for the love blow my face off in general you can see it a mile off when they love what they do and that comes first before anything else does. You cant lie, you can see it in the stuff they do. Clothing companies , film makers, photographers, designers, bands whatever i love it all when its them punching the shit out the best they can. wether they give the stuff away or sell it for a ton you can see when they’ve just buzzed off the act of expression and just emptied the entire creative ball sack over the face of the canvas whatever that may be.
you cant explain it but when you speak to someone and they give props like “hey man i saw ross kemp on gangs its banging say a line from it” thats amazing that they know it and I’m super appreciative that they care but when you talk to someone who fully gets what you do right down to the look, feel and buried jokes under the toilet humor they cant say anything and you just click for a second when they say “ That sketch where this happens its sooo ….. Its like ummm… ahh.. hhhh…..” From that you can see they are passionate about trying to explain to me what it means to them which is really fucking hard iv’e done it loads to people whose shit I admire. After that they don’t need to say anything and it doesn’t  have to mean the same to them as it does me or anything at all for that matter just the fact they’re passionate about stuff is all they ever need.
So i guess what sets a lot of people apart like myself is the true appreciation of what go’s into stuff, some sort of understanding and passion for what we and others do.

TT: Where can you see the milk in 15 years?

In the gutter still making real dark stuff that scares the normies back to the safety of dancing on ice & women’s own. Maybe ill be a torrent in 15 years.
maybe we will be so developed we’ll all find the process of sucking the moisture out cold buttered toast the best thing ant & dec’s ever done in their new show

I hope something real nuts happens over night like an invention of a machine or formula that not only makes shit logs edible but really really good for you. Ill be straight in the que curiously waiting to try a brotdog (brown hot dog)
 

TT: What’s your life goal?

This one is too deep so ill say it in short form without bad mouthing the dreaded green paper off ha ha ha ha.
To do as much as i possibly can with the things i love doing in music , comedy and film. To party and experience a lot of gnarly shit. It’s going well so far so good.  

TT: Animals or humans?

Humans are hilarious i like to spy on people when they’re not looking just to watch them function like animals it’s amazing when you find a couple of people with those natural qualities and just watch them function it makes me laugh so much. Don’t act like none of you do it. But animals have exactly the same quality its fantastic, you just have to imagine it the other way around. So the animal has the human qualities.  I always catch myself laughing as i’m on my way to the studio seeing a horse in a field doing absolutely nothing just super close to a tree looking at nothing as if to say “pffffffffff fuckin ell i don’t even know what weeks are let alone spring. where am i ?”
ha ha ha ha brilliant. Now i’m thinking about it maybe me and friends are obsessed with that idea. There are natural moments that are so funny that you could never write or recreate them but only hope someone is there with you to see and share that moment the same time as you. Some are captured like in 90’s photos when people didn’t care or understand or have the technology to give a fuck about how they will be portrayed in that captured image. The result is someone looking dead into the flash of the camera with the best, red eyed, most gormless, wide mouthed, double chined, clammiest forehead , photograph that is so funny it makes me wanna climb in side myself and scream.
So i guess the answer is both but in each others bodies. Like the movie The Fly

TT: Your mam said you can invite 5 guests to your birthday tea party. who do you choose & why?

well really ? i’d invite my friends and we’d get real messy and lose it. i know everyone in the world are like “MATE LAST NIGHT WAS UNREAL WHAT HAPPENED?”
but seriously when we party there’s no turning back . in fact most of the time i hope we forget it because some seriously dangerous shit go’s down. y’all know who you are as well you’ve been there with me to that place where you think this it i’mbeing bummed in a police station by two women with no arms whilst your best friends mother is on the phone crying and the rest of your friends are trying to blow a bouncy castle up indoors with a football pump and pint of gin with some gravy browning in to take the sting off the strength.

But for the sake of the fantasy i guess i’d say

The reason why is because iv’e got a feeling that we’re all reading the same book and we’re either on, passed or yet to read the same page but its the same book.

TT: What would you feed each guest?

Whatever i’d just say “cheeseburgers?”
“i’m in the mood for cheeseburgers. anyone up for cheeseburgers?”
talk it out i guess until we reach something easy but rad.

TT: What’s your favorite word of all time?

That’s literally the hardest question anyone can ask me. Simply due to the fact i go through changes of words i find funny or cool to use in everyday sentences monthly.
